The ceremony was organized for the distinguished anniversary celebrants:
- Maria and Zdzisław Furman,
- Leokadia and Tadeusz Krystoń,
- Łucja and Leon Kurzawa,
- Mirosława and Andrzej Mitko.
During the ceremony, the couples were honored with diplomas and Medals for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. Vice-President Renata Szewczyk presented the decorations to the distinguished anniversary celebrants.
The anniversary celebrants’ family members and friends attended the celebrations. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by artists from the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center workshop.
The Medal for Long Marital Life is an award for people who have spent at least 50 years in the same marriage. Congratulations.
