Four married couples from Warta Bolesławiecka municipality were honored with Medals for Long Marital Life. The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate many years of marriage together and to offer the jubilaries congratulations and wishes for many more years spent together.
Medals for Long Marital Life are awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. During the ceremony in Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, the decorations were presented on behalf of the head of state by Mayor Mirosław Haniszewski in the presence of the head of the Civil Registry Office.
The following couples celebrated this special anniversary:
- Halina and Paweł Harowie,
- Helena and Jan Kawałkowie,
- Zofia and Bogdan Młynikowie,
- Maria and Stanisław Osipowie.
The anniversary was an opportunity to recall that a long marriage means not only years lived together, but also daily support, care and presence.
