The Lower Silesian Voivode Maciej Awiżeń reported during Saturday’s meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk that preliminary losses in Lower Silesia are estimated at PLN 3.832 billion in total. Jelenia Góra suffered the most; preliminary estimates put its losses at PLN 750 million.

As reported by Karina Sikora-Wojtarowicz, director of the Security and Crisis Management Department of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office, serious losses were also recorded in:

  • Oława County – PLN 456 million,
  • Karkonosze County – PLN 425 million,
  • Bolesławiec County – PLN 281 million,
  • Lwówek County – PLN 200 million.

Polkowice County suffered the smallest losses: PLN 1.5 million.
