As reported by the Bezpieczna Przystań Animal Aid Foundation:

Dear Friends!

We are turning to you with an enormous request... We are a foundation that has been helping animals, mainly cats, for years, and our Cat Sanctuary is located in Trzebień. This place is our home, just as it is home to hundreds of our feline residents. However, recent events have shaken us to the core…

Our beloved village of Trzebień has been affected by a devastating flood. The water mercilessly took away people’s life savings. They lost everything they had… Their homes, everyday belongings, memories… Our animals and the Cat Sanctuary were fortunately safe, but we cannot calmly watch our neighbors suffer. Today, they are the ones who need help!

The organization adds:

They are people with great hearts who often supported our work and helped our animals. Now fate has treated them cruelly. We ask you to support these wonderful people who have lost everything.

We believe that the power of love our furry friends receive from us every day can now return to those who need it so much.

We are publishing verified fundraisers for our neighbors – real people, flesh and blood, who are fighting to rebuild their lives.

We ask you for any help, however small. Every zloty and every share can make a huge difference. Together, we can make the world a slightly better place – not only for animals, but also for people who have lost hope.

Let’s help them get back on their feet! May our feline hearts unite to support those who need it most right now.

With all our hearts, we ask you – share this post, forward it, and share it wherever possible. Together, we can work miracles.
