Portal gov.pl:

You can receive PLN 10,000 in non-repayable support for the most urgent needs. For the renovation or reconstruction of an outbuilding, you can receive up to PLN 100,000, and for a residential building—up to PLN 200,000. Additional support is available for children and people with disabilities. Farmers, entrepreneurs and students may also apply for assistance.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

A family affected by flooding may receive up to PLN 10,000 in emergency assistance:

  • up to PLN 8,000 from social assistance,
  • PLN 2,000 in flood relief.

Where to apply? At the local social assistance centre or municipal/city office responsible for your area. A list of Social Assistance Centres in areas affected by flooding is available HERE.

When to apply? Government:— Submit your application no later than 30 days after the flood.

FUNDS FOR RENOVATING/REBUILDING BUILDINGS

You may also apply for non-repayable funds to renovate or rebuild damaged buildings:

  • up to PLN 200,000 for renovating/rebuilding a residential building,
  • up to PLN 100,000 for renovating/rebuilding outbuildings.

The funds will be paid after verification that the specified criteria have been met.

Where to apply? At the local social assistance centre or municipal/city office responsible for your area. A list of Social Assistance Centres in areas affected by flooding is available HERE.

When to apply? Submit your application no later than 30 days after the flood.

SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN

Forms of support include:

  • a one-off hardship benefit of PLN 1,000,
  • funding of PLN 1,540 for a therapeutic trip,
  • PLN 500 to organise therapeutic and educational activities.

Who is eligible? Students and children who meet the criteria described HERE.

Where to apply? At the municipal office.

When to apply? By the deadline set by the municipal office.

What is required? A document confirming that a targeted benefit from social assistance of up to PLN 8,000 has been granted.

ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

People with disabilities who hold a valid disability certificate or degree-of-disability certificate may receive a benefit under two modules:

  • a one-off benefit of up to PLN 2,000 for social rehabilitation,
  • a one-off benefit constituting compensation for losses incurred or covering the cost of repairing equipment/device.

Where to apply? At the relevant County Family Assistance Centre.

ASSISTANCE FOR STUDENTS

You may apply for a hardship grant due to a difficult life situation. The amount of the grant is determined by the university.

Where to apply? Submit an application to your university.

ASSISTANCE FOR BORROWERS

If you have a mortgage and have lost the ability to use your house/apartment, even temporarily, you may use the Borrowers Support Fund (FWK).

FWK will pay your instalments for 12 months, regardless of their amount. The assistance will be non-repayable.

SUPPORT FOR ENTREPRENEURS

Affected taxpayers may apply for:

  • spreading tax liabilities into instalments (RAT-Z application),
  • remission of tax arrears (UZ-M application),
  • deferral of the payment deadline for tax liabilities (TER-Z application).

Entrepreneurs may also use:

  • relief constituting state aid,
  • relief not constituting state aid,
  • de minimis aid.

Where to apply? At the relevant tax office, via biznes.gov.pl or through an account on the e-Tax Office.

SUPPORT FOR FARMERS

As an agricultural producer, you may apply for:

  • agricultural tax relief,
  • assistance with KRUS contribution payments,
  • assistance with payments to KOWR.

HOT MEALS AND MATERIAL ASSISTANCE

RARS is delivering essential supplies—water, dry food and cleaning products—to areas affected by flooding. The army is providing sleeping containers. Some municipalities are offering hot meals or material assistance from their own funds, as well as shelter for homeless people in a form other than standard shelters.
