The history of the Land Forces is a history of the struggle for Poland’s freedom and independence. We, the soldiers of the Land Forces, shed our blood on battlefields, defending our borders, our homes and our sovereignty. This branch of the military has always been on the front line.

The central point of the ceremony was honoring outstanding soldiers by awarding them the honorary title “Distinguished Soldier of the Republic of Poland.” The honorees received medals and certificates in recognition of their hard work and dedication to the country.
