Update
Bolesławiec police on the incident:
The driver of a VW, a 46-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, as a result of which he caused a road incident involving a Nissan passenger car driven by a 64-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
The offender received a PLN 1,200 fine and 10 penalty points.
The incident occurred on Friday, September 6, at approximately 12:00 p.m., on the Bolesławiec bypass, between ZEC and Solidarności Roundabout. Two vehicles—a Volkswagen and a Nissan—collided there. According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
Police are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and sound judgment on the road.
