As reported on the website of the Zgorzelec District Police Headquarters:
Zgorzelec police are asking for help identifying a man who, on August 29 after 6:00 a.m., stepped in front of an oncoming train at a railway crossing in Zagajnik and died at the scene. The man was not carrying any identification documents.
Officers:
The man appeared to be 25–35 years old, 170–175 cm tall, with a slim build and short red hair. On the day of the incident, he was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, light green long trousers, and navy-blue flip-flops with white straps.
They also appeal:
Anyone who may help establish the man’s identity is asked to contact:
- the officer conducting the investigation at 47 87 324 04, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- or, around the clock, the duty officer at the Zgorzelec District Police Headquarters at 47 87 322 00.
