The incident took place on July 24, before 2:00 p.m., on Wrocławska Street in Lubań, on the exit toward Nowogrodziec. As reported by eluban.pl
The collision occurred when the Audi was leaving Lubań toward Nowogrodziec, while the truck was entering the city. According to witnesses, the Audi entered the lane in which the truck was traveling and struck its left front wheel, then ruptured the truck’s fuel tank.
The Lubań-based outlet adds: – After the collision, the Audi spun 180 degrees and stopped several dozen meters farther on the roadside. The truck, meanwhile, was pulled sharply to the left. The driver miraculously avoided a roadside tree, and the truck stopped in the middle of the field beside the road.
The driver of the passenger car was taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious his injuries are. Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
