The incident occurred during the night of 16–17 July. Two vehicles collided on the road between Gierałtów and Wykroty.
As established by the Bolesławiec police, the driver of a Peugeot, a resident of Zgorzelec County, rear-ended a Mercedes driven by a woman who was also a resident of that county.
Fortunately, no one suffered any serious injuries. The driver responsible for the collision was fined.
Officers appeal for caution and prudence on the road.
