The main item on the agenda was information concerning the activities of the Municipal Communal Services Company in Bolesławiec and an on-site inspection at the Municipal Waste Disposal Plant in Trzebień. The detailed information was presented by Krzysztof Basiak – president of MZGK.
The Municipal Waste Disposal Plant in Trzebień provides comprehensive waste-management services – recovering materials suitable for reuse, stabilizing organic waste before disposal, and disposing of waste by landfilling it in the landfill cell.
The councillors visited, among other facilities, the technological hall for waste segregation, including the sorting line, waste pressing and baling line, biofraction preparation line for composting, warehouses for raw waste and biofraction, waste bays, the composting plant, and landfill cells.
