The incident took place last Thursday in the market square in Lwówek Śląski. As reported by lwowecki.info:
At one point, a man ran out of one of the restaurants located in the market square, and three men from the establishment’s staff set off in pursuit. When the fleeing man stopped at a pedestrian crossing, a chair was brought into play, and one of the men chasing him broke it over the fugitive’s head. The injured man made his own way to hospital.
The matter was reported to the Lwówek police at around 9:00 p.m. Officers determined that during the day, the beaten man had visited the establishment in question several times. Not, by any means, to order anything, but each time to insult the staff. What is more, during one of his visits… the 40-year-old exposed himself and showed his genitals.
Lwówek-based media outlet: – The staff had been patient for a long time, but at some point the men behind the bar lost their temper. After breaking a chair over the 40-year-old’s head in the city centre, he went to hospital.
At the hospital, the injured man, a resident of Lwówek County, also started a disturbance. As it turned out, he was completely drunk; his blood alcohol level was 2.5 per mille. The police are handling the case.
