Thanks to recordings from our cameras, we can definitively state that the man jumped from the overpass. At around 8:30, he entered the structure, and the jump itself occurred at around 8:40. Earlier, he lay down by the tracks twice; a train passed next to him once (although it is impossible to determine from the recorded footage exactly where the man was located—between the tracks or beside them).

As reported by the Bolesławiec police, preliminary findings indicate that the probable cause of death was a fall from a height.

It is already known that the deceased was a resident of Bolesławiec.


The incident occurred on Monday, June 3. During the morning hours, a passerby found a man’s body near the overpass.

The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the case.
