Police officers from different units arrested the same man, suspected of drug-related crimes, on consecutive days in Gromadka commune.

On Monday, a patrol from the Police Station in Kruszyn stopped a vehicle for a roadside check. It was being driven by a 24-year-old man. A drug test showed that the man was under the influence of a narcotic substance. In addition, officers found several portions of methamphetamine in the car.

On Tuesday, officers from the Independent Prevention Police Subunit in Legnica, who were on duty in Bolesławiec County, checked a vehicle whose passenger was the 24-year-old man. This time, too, police officers seized a prohibited substance—methamphetamine—from the resident of Gromadka commune.

The man was arrested and charged with three offenses. Police: – Possession of drugs or driving under their influence is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
