Update: June 7, 2024

Bolesławiec police:

Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, in connection with proceedings concerning the theft of an external surveillance camera from one of Bolesławiec’s shopping galleries, published an image of the person suspected of committing the crime.

The person in the recording was identified, and a Bolesławiec resident who was not yet 18 years old was charged. The perpetrator confessed to committing the crime. Police officers also recovered the stolen camera.

The young man from Bolesławiec now faces up to five years in prison.

Officers from the Investigative Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters are conducting proceedings concerning the theft of an external surveillance camera from one of Bolesławiec’s shopping galleries.

As KPP Bolesławiec reported at the time:

On March 23, after 10 p.m., surveillance footage showed a group of young people, from which a boy broke away and ran toward the image-recording device. The recording was then interrupted, and the camera, worth more than PLN 2,000, was stolen.
