Marta Zborowska, chair of the Municipal Electoral Commission in Bolesławiec, presented certificates of election as councillors of the Bolesławiec City Council for its ninth term, as well as a certificate of election as Mayor of Bolesławiec.
Before beginning their terms of office, councillors take the following oath: “Faithful to the Constitution and the law of the Republic of Poland, I solemnly swear to perform the duties of a councillor with dignity, diligence and honesty, bearing in mind the welfare of my municipality and its residents.” From that moment, the City Council is authorized to adopt resolutions and exercise the powers and perform the tasks provided for by law.
The statutory composition of the Bolesławiec City Council is 21 councillors.
