It is with great sadness that we announce the death of firefighter Marcin Raczyk from OSP Żerniki (Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship).
On Saturday, April 27, during exercises in a smoke chamber, firefighter Marcin Raczyk became unwell. He was taken to hospital. Despite the rescue efforts undertaken, his life could not be saved.
Psychological assistance from the State Fire Service was provided to the family.

The Chief Commander of the State Fire Service, Deputy Senior Brigadier Dr. Eng. Mariusz Feltynowski, on his own behalf and on behalf of the entire firefighting community, extends his condolences to the Family and Loved Ones of the Deceased.
On Saturday, April 27, at 6:00 p.m., let us activate the visual and audible signals at all State Fire Service and volunteer fire service units and pay tribute to the late firefighter Marcin Raczyk.
