The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Oświęcimska Street in Lwówek Śląski. – The driver of a BMW passenger car lost control at excessive speed and crashed into a building. Two passengers were traveling in the car. One of them sustained injuries that required hospitalization – explains Staff Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer for the Lwówek KPP.
She adds:
The person responsible for the incident turned out to be a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The man smelled of alcohol. During the sobriety test, the driver registered two per mille. But that was not all. During the procedures, police officers found dried marijuana on him. He was arrested in connection with the offenses committed.
Our fellow resident now faces up to three years behind bars.
