Audi from Osiecznica Collected by Its Owner. The Man Learned from Police That It Had Been Stolen

On the morning of 16 April, the duty officer at the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters received information that a car was standing on the roadway by the roundabout in Osiecznica, obstructing traffic for other road users. A patrol from Nowogrodziec was sent to the scene. A series of subsequent actions, carried out with the assistance of the German police, led to the owner of the car, which was worth €15,000. The man was surprised to learn that his vehicle was not at home but had been secured by police officers in Poland. It turned out that the Audi had been stolen several hours earlier, and the owner had not yet realized this or reported the theft.

The car was handed over by police officers to its owner, who came to collect his property.

Officers are determining the circumstances in which the car was left in Osiecznica Municipality.

The car's owner has already collected his property. The car is worth €15,000. Police are still determining the identity of the person who abandoned the vehicle at the roundabout in Osiecznica.

Reader informed us that a car made by Audi had been standing at the roundabout in Osiecznica since around 6:00 a.m. Interestingly, the vehicle has German license plates. A police patrol is guarding it.
