A ZSOiZ student in Bolesławiec wrote to us:

There are no conditions for studying at the school; it is literally falling apart. Last year, when they were renovating one of the classrooms, the ceiling in the classroom below it was leaking.

She added that the roof was collapsing.

Our source told us that she had heard that about a month ago a brick fell on someone’s head. An ambulance was also at the scene.

The school:

Work is currently underway in connection with the planned investment project entitled “Renovation of the roofing and attic in the historic ZSOiZ buildings in Bolesławiec – Polish Deal.” The construction site has been properly secured so that it does not pose a threat. The work is being carried out in accordance with the applicable health and safety and fire protection regulations.

And assures us: – The school is safe, and there is no concern for the health and lives of students and staff.

And clarifies: – The incident involving a falling brick did not take place; however, it is a fact that an ambulance was called to the school for one of the teachers because of his health condition.
