On Thursday, November 18, Bolesławiec police officers conducted the “Van” operation. In recent years, the number of private carriers has risen sharply, as has the number of accidents involving buses and trucks. The recurring “Van” operation aims to improve the safety of passengers and other road users.
Officers inspected 82 vehicles (including 35 buses and vans). They seized 59 registration certificates (mainly because of the vehicles’ poor technical condition) and issued 7 fines.
