As established by the Bolesławiec police, the Citroën driver failed to give way to an Opel. The vehicles were driven by residents of Bolesławiec County. Both were taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 2. The County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec:
(…) at 1:12 p.m., a report was received by the Bolesławiec County Headquarters command centre concerning a collision involving two cars in Wykroty.
It added:
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters from fire protection units found a bus lying on its side. Two people were injured.
Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for caution and prudence on the road.
