Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit in Bolesławiec stopped a vehicle for a road check. They knew it was being used by a man who had a court-imposed driving ban.

Police: – When the officers saw the driver, they were surprised because someone else was behind the wheel. The matter was quickly clarified. A resident of Osiecznica municipality had just bought the car and was driving it home.

They add: – The story continued, as it turned out that not only the previous owner had a court-imposed driving ban. The 32-year-old, who was the happy buyer, also had a court-imposed ban in force for two years, starting in January 2024.

Breaking a court-imposed driving ban carries a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
