We received many reports concerning one candidate for the Lower Silesian Regional Assembly. The politician in question is Law and Justice member Andrzej K.
His banners are hanging in places where he did not obtain permission to display them. The PiS politician’s advertisement was attached, for example, to a bridge over the railway tracks between Bolesławiec and Dobra. The structure is managed by Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei we Wrocławiu.
– The viaduct is part of DW 350 (maintained by DSDiK). The local authority did not issue a decision authorizing the placement of an election banner at the indicated location. However, during an inspection on March 14, 2024, a DSDiK inspector found that the election poster in question was no longer there – Elżbieta Jankowska from the Road Corridor Protection Department informed us.
Andrzej K.’s banners are hanging on many roadside barriers in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area.
We sent the politician the following message:
Good morning, Mr. Andrzej. We are receiving many reports that your banners are hanging in numerous places without the appropriate permits—for example, they were on the bridge over the railway tracks between Bolesławiec and Dobra, or they are on the barriers at the railway crossing on Tamka Street in Bolesławiec. Why are you putting up banners illegally?
Candidate K. advertises himself as “Your candidate for the Regional Assembly.” Probably not ours, since he did not even bother to reply.
