Police officers from the station in Kruszyn, while patrolling the area around Szczytnica at night, stopped a passenger car for inspection. A 26-year-old man was driving it. Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters: – The man thought the police officers would not notice and tried to swap places with the passenger, but the size of the car and the officers’ vigilance prevented him from carrying out his plan.

The reason for the resident of Bolesławiec County’s behaviour quickly became clear: the detainee had six court-ordered driving bans and a decision revoking his driving licence.
The 26-year-old will face charges for two further road offences and could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
