Changes in the prosecutor’s office are progressing. Maciej Prabucki, an activist with Lex Super Omnia, has become the new head of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra. He had already worked at that prosecutor’s office, but when Zbigniew Ziobro was Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, M. Prabucki was delegated, among other places, to Bolesławiec.

Prosecutor Prabucki was one of the nonconformist investigators. Among other things, he signed a protest in defense of two judges from Warsaw—Ewa Leszczyńska-Furtak and Ewa Gregajtys—who were persecuted for applying the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as for challenging the politicized National Council of the Judiciary. Recently, in October 2023, he signed a protest in defense of Dariusz Mazur, a judge from Kraków, who was harassed for his public statements.
