One of the instruments supporting this objective is financial assistance for the development of broadband infrastructure in “white spots”—areas without adequate coverage—provided to telecommunications companies under the National Recovery Plan.
As a result of the competition announced by the Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa, Orange Polska will build a fiber-optic internet network as part of the “BOLESŁAWIECKI Orange Światłowód” project, area no. 5.02.01.00, which includes the Miasto Bolesławiec.
Information about the competition is available at: https://www.gov.pl/web/cppc/inwestycja-c111-zapewnienie-dostepu-do-bardzo-szybkiego-internetu-na-obszarach-bialych-plam-1-nabor-uruchomiony.
The website also contains the List of Address Points designated for network coverage.
Fiber-optic infrastructure based on fiber-optic cables will be brought to the property boundary for single-family buildings and to the common areas of multi-family buildings.
The network built will be available to all operators interested in providing services in the municipality.
During the construction phase, residents will not incur any fees related to the investment.
The investment will be carried out in stages, with the planned completion date of the final stage being June 30, 2026.
All information about current and planned broadband network coverage can also be found and verified at https://internet.gov.pl.
