Update
Bolesławiec police on the incident:
A resident of Bolesławiec municipality, driving an Audi, hit the back of a Toyota (which had stopped before the railway tracks behind the Audi). The Toyota was then pushed forward by the force of the impact and hit an Audi that had stopped before the STOP sign at the railway tracks. All those involved were sober. The Toyota driver was taken to hospital.
The incident occurred on 22 March, after 9:00 a.m., by the tracks, not far from the new headquarters of KPP Bolesławiec. (As a reader informed us: “Something is happening on the tracks near the police station.”)
According to preliminary findings, three cars collided there. The first stopped at the stop sign, and the second stopped behind it. When the third arrived, it hit the middle vehicle so hard that the middle vehicle collided with the first one.
One person was injured. Police were determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
