Today, a meeting organized by St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec and the Wspierajmy Zdrowie Foundation, entitled “Don’t Delay – Take Care of Your Kidneys,” was held at the Old Theatre. During the event, attendees could take advantage of free laboratory tests, a doctor’s consultation, and advice from a dietitian and a rehabilitation specialist.
Lectures by distinguished guests: prof. dr hab. n. med. Oktawia Mazanowska – the voivodeship consultant in nephrology, prof. dr hab. n. med. Mariusz Kusztal – Head of the Dialysis Station, Aleksandra Wróbel – clinical dietitian, Patrycja Kołcio – dialysis nurse, and Radosław Stawiarski, head chef at St. Luke’s Hospital, attracted considerable interest.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness of kidney health and encourage preventive care, regular check-ups and doctor’s visits in order to enjoy a full life.
