The third-round match between TOP Bolesławiec and Lombardi.pl promised to be the most interesting of all last week's games. As it later turned out, events on the court confirmed the expectations of basketball fans. In the first quarter, Lombardia performed decisively better. Quick plays by the former Turow players Niewola and Leszczuk meant that the team bearing the name of the popular pawnshop chain took a deserved nine-point lead. In the second quarter, the players from Bolesławiec learned from their poor start. Thanks to intelligent and effective offensive play, TOP reduced the opponents' lead to two points (at the end of the first half).
At the beginning of the second half, TOP also played well. The score remained close to a tie until the 28th minute, and it looked as though the team from Bolesławiec would be able to tip the scales of victory in its favor. In the final part of the game, at the most important moments, the players from Bolesławiec were unable to finish their plays effectively. This ultimately decided their defeat.
The game's top scorer was Łukasz Leszczuk of Lombardi.pl, who scored 30 points. Among the defeated team, Kureła and Abramowicz stood out, scoring 20 and 17 points respectively.
