The incident occurred on 24 February. Firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(…) at 14:12, we were dispatched to a grass fire near the PKP station in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
They added: – Upon arriving at the scene, a fire involving wasteland covering approximately 30 ares was confirmed. Two water jets were deployed and portable firefighting equipment was used.
The danger was eliminated; fortunately, no one was hurt. Firefighters from Krzyżowa and Tomaszów Bolesławiecki took part in the operation.
