On Saturday, 6 November, police officers from Nowogrodziec received a report that a 30-year-old woman was caring for her two-year-old child while drunk. At the scene, officers found the 30-year-old woman and her cohabiting partner. Both were intoxicated. The woman had more than 3.5 per mille of alcohol in her system. The police are determining whether a crime was committed. If it turns out that the 30-year-old woman exposed the child to the danger of loss of life or serious bodily harm, she could face a sentence of up to three years in prison.
