The collision occurred on February 21 at the 36th kilometre of the A4 motorway in the direction of Wrocław. (Firefighters from Osiecznica were dispatched to the incident at 6:32 p.m.).
Bolesławiec police:
The 43-year-old van driver, from Silesian Voivodeship, was driving through an area where roadworks were being carried out when he collided with a road-service trailer stopped in the right lane and then hit an energy-absorbing barrier.
Fortunately, no one suffered any serious injuries.
The following took part in the operation:
- OSP Osiecznica,
- JRG Bolesławiec (2 units)
- a medical rescue team,
- the police.
Officers are appealing for caution and care on the road.
