As a result of vehicle inspections, officers detained 7 registration certificates due to the vehicles’ technical condition. One example was a car transporter with a trailer; during its inspection, traffic officers found inadequate lighting on the vehicle and trailer, improperly secured cargo, and a faulty brake.
In 19 cases, drivers exceeded the speed limit. Police: – One driver lost his driving licence for 3 months because he exceeded the permitted speed by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area.
