On February 2, a ceremony was held at the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów to present the decision to renew the inclusion of the Military Fire Service in Świętoszów in the National Rescue and Firefighting System.

The WSP Świętoszów unit has operated within the National Rescue and Firefighting System since 2019. The renewal decision extended its operation until 2028.

The WSP Świętoszów unit is an important element of fire protection in Bolesławiec County. Due to its location, it is very often dispatched to incidents in the northwestern part of the county.

The Bolesławiec County State Fire Service commander, Senior Brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski, presented the decision to include the Military Fire Service in the National Rescue and Firefighting System to the commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, Brigadier General Mirosław Downar>—in the presence of Senior Sergeant Krzysztof Mocarski—acting commander of the WSP.
