Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained an intoxicated driver who lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road. The patrol established that the resident of Bolesławiec County was not only intoxicated but was also wanted by the court because he had a 13-month prison sentence to serve for assault.

During the proceedings, the 40-year-old insulted the officers and threatened to kill them. He tried to bribe the uniformed officers, offering money or drugs. In addition, a forged document bearing the suspect’s details was found in the detained man’s car.

The 40-year-old will spend the next 13 months in prison, serving his sentence for assault. The prosecutor brought charges against the offender; he faces up to 10 years in prison.
