Officers of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec regularly check places where homeless people and those in need of help may be staying as part of the “Winter” operation. The aim is to prevent threats to life and health.

The preventive measures undertaken by police officers are intended to limit incidents with tragic consequences and to ensure assistance reaches as many people in need as possible.

Frost rapidly cools the body. If we see someone who may need help, let the emergency services know.

Police officers remind us that sometimes a single phone call can save a person’s life. Do you see someone sleeping at a bus stop, on a bench, in a park or in an abandoned building? Do not remain indifferent—take action.
