Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters detained a man who attacked his guest while they were drinking alcohol together. KPP: – The 44-year-old stabbed the victim twice in the chest with a knife.
The suspect was detained immediately after the incident. A sobriety test showed more than 2.7 per mille of alcohol in his system. The victim was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec.
Police:
The evidence collected by Bolesławiec officers provided grounds for charging him with an offence against life and health. At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office, the court decided to apply custodial preventive detention.
The Bolesławiec resident was remanded in custody for three months. The man could face up to 20 years in prison.
