On 27 December, officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained two drivers on the roads of the county. In the town, they detained a 37-year-old woman who was driving despite a court-imposed ban dating from 2022. Meanwhile, in one of the rural localities in Bolesławiec Commune, traffic police checked a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old man. The resident of Zgorzelec County had 1 per mille of alcohol in his system.
Also on the first day after the holidays, officers detained three wanted people: two residents of Bolesławiec—a 27-year-old man who has a sentence to serve for drug possession and a 33-year-old man who was sent to prison for violating a court-imposed driving ban—and, as the third detainee, a 24-year-old resident of Jawor County who has a sentence to serve for driving under the influence of alcohol.
