On December 19, during the night, a patrol from the Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a vehicle for inspection whose driver was clearly unwilling to comply with the law. The officers checked the man in police databases. It turned out that the 30-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County had several active driving bans to his name.
The driver disregarded court rulings that had banned him from driving motor vehicles five times.
For ignoring the court rulings, the man faces up to five years in prison.
