During a patrol of the rural area of Bolesławiec gmina, officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn noticed a passenger vehicle that, upon seeing them, abruptly turned onto a forest road.
A 58-year-old man from Bolesławiec County was behind the wheel. The reason for the driver's behavior quickly became clear. Since 2021, the man has been subject to a court-imposed driving ban.
For disregarding the court's ruling, the detained man faces up to 5 years in prison and an extension of the driving ban.
