The US Army informs that, due to adverse weather conditions, the helicopter landing scheduled for December 15 on Rajska Street will not take place. The concert and other attractions planned there will also not take place.

AH-64 Apaches will provide an aerial escort and circle the city, while UH-60 Black Hawks will land on the stadium grounds on Rajska Street.

– The 3rd Infantry Division is honored to support this important holiday event with our Polish friends – said Capt. Charlie Egan, spokesman for 3ID. – The holiday season is a time for community, and we appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the community.

The helicopters will transport Lt. Col. Davida Ike'a and Staff Sgt. Raula Aguilara, the command team of the 3rd Infantry Division and the Regimental Staff, who will give speeches during the Star of Kindness on Bolesławiec Market Square.

The helicopters will land at 4:00 p.m., and the command team will travel in a convoy of military vehicles to the Star of Kindness. The 3rd Infantry Division Band will appear and perform at MOSiR Bolesławiec (the stadium on Rajska Street) at 3:15 p.m.

Residents can attend the aviation demonstration and take photos with the soldiers who will participate in the event between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
