On December 2, at around 2:30 p.m., traffic police from Lubań were sent to Biedrzychowice, where a road incident was reported.
– The officers found a 26-year-old man at the scene who, while driving a BMW, veered off the road, drove through a fence and came to a stop on the property – reports Staff Warrant Officer Justyna Bujakiewicz-Rodzeń, press officer for the County Police Headquarters in Lubań.
In addition to the offender’s car, fence posts and the facade of a residential building were damaged. Passengers were inside the BMW.
It turned out that the 26-year-old had been drinking. The spokesperson said: – The test showed nearly 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. The officers confiscated the driver’s licence and the vehicle’s registration certificate, and he will now answer before the court.
