The traffic police, patrolling Nowogrodziec at night, stopped a 49-year-old driving a passenger car for inspection. The officers: “The police immediately noticed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. A sobriety test showed nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in the system of a resident of Bolesławiec County.

The driver’s licence was confiscated. The police also seized the vehicle’s registration certificate because it had not undergone a technical inspection.

The officers: “Driving while intoxicated is a crime. An intoxicated driver faces up to 2 years in prison, a long-term loss of their driving licence and financial consequences.
