Piotr Roman announced at a session of the Bolesławiec City Council:
We exchanged properties.
The municipal authorities exchanged properties with the Lower Silesian Road Traffic Centre. At the latter’s request, Bolesławiec City Hall acquired ownership of the developed plot along with the building on Lubańska Street. DORD, in turn, received ownership of a comparable plot from the municipality.
The reason for the exchange? Adapting the existing facility would be too costly for DORD, so a new building will be constructed where future drivers will take their exams.
And the current building, acquired by the City of Bolesławiec, is to be used for healthcare purposes. – There are advanced discussions with Kamil Barczyk – the mayor of Bolesławiec explained. He added that, among other things, rotating accommodation for people who “are essential to the hospital’s operations” is to be created there.
