As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
Police officers from the station in Nowogrodziec arrested the perpetrator of the theft of an advertisement together with its structure. The banner had been hung beside the A4 motorway.
As established, the 25-year-old repeatedly came and dismantled various metal elements because he knew that his acquaintance was soon planning to build a similar structure and, consequently, that he would have a customer for his loot. The officers said: – After dismantling it, he took the frame and threw away the laminated banner and solar lamps.
They added: – The findings confirmed that the structure for photovoltaic panels on one of the private properties in the Nowogrodziec municipality had been made precisely from the stolen elements.
The 25-year-old will now face charges for stealing property worth PLN 17,000. The 32-year-old, meanwhile, was charged with unintentional handling of stolen goods.
