Officers from the Police station in Kruszyna once again conducted an operation with the Forest Guard from Chocianów and Przemków. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters: – The aim of the operation called “Stroisz” was to verify whether, before 1 November, people were appearing in our forest areas who were stealing by cutting down trees to obtain materials for grave decorations.

The two-day operation in the municipalities of Gromadka and Bolesławiec ended with fines for drivers who had come to pick mushrooms. Instead of leaving their cars in a car park, the forest-product enthusiasts decided to drive into wooded areas despite the ban in force.
