The “Strengthen Your Surroundings” programme is a nationwide grant programme carried out by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. It is addressed to local governments and their units – such as kindergartens, schools, libraries and social welfare centres – as well as non-governmental organisations that want to introduce important and lasting changes in their surroundings in one of the following eight areas: physical activity, safety, education, animal protection, development of shared public space, the natural environment, health and other initiatives falling within the programme’s objectives.
