The Equality March will pass through the streets of Bolesławiec on October 22. It will be a peaceful and non-political march for people who say YES to the equality of citizens in Poland and the European Union. The march will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Asnyka Street (by Orka) and continue through the Market Square toward the viaduct. After the march, everyone is invited to a free Family Picnic under the viaduct.

Well-known and popular television personalities and politicians have joined the promotion of the march. See how they invite people to the Bolesławiec Equality March.

Maciej Stuhr: Hello, dear ones. I’ve heard that the first Equality March is being organized in Bolesławiec. That’s lovely news. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to make it there, but I will certainly support you, follow the event, and send lots of warmth and positive energy. March bravely!

Piotr Jacoń: I like Bolesławiec very much; I have a lot of Bolesławiec at home. To me, Bolesławiec means diversity with a common denominator: ceramics. Diversity, ceramics, Bolesławiec, the city, the Equality March—and, of course, diversity as well. It isn’t a large city, but that makes it all the more possible to show your strength and agency through diversity. I strongly encourage you to do so. October 22.

Magda Mołek: As a woman from Lower Silesia, I strongly encourage you to meet in Bolesławiec for the Equality March on October 22. It matters—don’t be afraid of autumn leaves, or even rain and miserable weather. Be together, because expressing solidarity is something we need very much right now.

Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan: In October, the Equality March will take place—the first one in Bolesławiec. So it would be great if you joined it. Remember that love is love, and that is the most important thing.

Bovska: Be sure to take part in the Freedom and Equality March in Bolesławiec. It is simply worth celebrating our freedom and fighting for it.

Franek Sterczewski: I would like to warmly invite you to the Equality March in Bolesławiec, which will take place on October 22. I may be a guy from Poznań, but I am a huge fan of the Pearl of Lower Silesia, the beautiful city of Bolesławiec. I hope to see you there. See you, goodbye.

Konrad Piasecki: I am an absolute fan of democracy, an absolute fan of equality, and an absolute fan of human rights, which is why I invite you to the Equality March in Bolesławiec.

Barbara Nowacka: A major event will take place in Bolesławiec on October 22—an event I would like to see in every city, throughout Poland, all the time. Namely, the First Equality March in Bolesławiec. Don’t be afraid; be yourselves, be brave women and men, be visible. You must see one another, and the world must see you. Only then will we achieve equality of rights and equality of opportunities.

Piotr Borys: The first Equality March in Bolesławiec. As it happens, I was born in Bolesławiec. It is my hometown. This is a major challenge. Bolesławiec is a tolerant city, a city for everyone. Let us show through this attitude that Bolesławiec is truly a place for everyone—for all those who support LGBT+ people. I warmly invite you. I will be at the march; it will be after the elections, and I am extremely happy about that. See you.
