The meeting aimed to discuss current and planned investments, including a presentation of the angiography laboratory and a discussion of a range of innovations at the Stroke Treatment and Prevention Centre.

The next item on the agenda was information about funding received from the Government Strategic Investment Programme, presented by Sejm Member Szymon Pogoda.

The local governments of Bolesławiec County can celebrate the award of substantial funding from the programme. A total of PLN 89,993,769 will be allocated to investments in the region.

These significant funds will be used for various projects aimed at modernising and developing the infrastructure of the county and its municipalities.

Bolesławiec County will be able to use these funds to purchase equipment necessary for modernising the county’s road infrastructure, as well as to modernise and rebuild selected sections of county roads within Bolesławiec County.

Bolesławiec Municipality will receive funding to construct a multifunctional building in the village of Kruszyn—the Municipal Cultural Centre—while Gromadka Municipality will receive funds for the construction of municipal roads.

Another project to be completed thanks to this edition of the programme will involve the construction, rebuilding and renovation of internal and municipal roads in Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, as well as partial modernisation of a water treatment plant. Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality will also construct and install photovoltaic systems at water and sewage infrastructure facilities.

In Osiecznica Municipality, the funds will be used to construct Social Activity Centres for the villages of Przejęsław and Ławszowa, as well as to improve the safety of the municipality’s drinking-water supply.

Further funds will go to the City of Bolesławiec for developing the water sports centre at 24 Spacerowa Street in Bolesławiec, improving the energy efficiency of Primary School No. 4 at Bielска Street in Bolesławiec, and constructing municipal roads to connect residential and service areas in Bolesławiec.

In Nowogrodziec, the funds will be allocated to revitalising Rajmund Wróblewski Square within the area bounded by Rynek, 1 Maja, Klasztorna and Bolesławiecka streets.

The local governments of Bolesławiec County now have many opportunities for development thanks to the awarded funds. Success depends on responsible planning and effective use of the funding, which can transform the county and contribute to its long-term development.
